ReplyDeleteWAY TO GO DAN! We raised our glasses to you! What a great adventure, now get your butt home and tell us all about it.
Love, Mom
Dan, Congrats on your venture my name is Dennis and I work with your father at the SAO. I retired from TPD and have enjoyed talking to your father about you and the trail. We've talked about various hikes we would like to do post retirement but like your father reminded me we are only one slipped disc from being immobilized. I've been doing section hikes on the AT for the past 20 years. I love the AT but it does not compare to the sites on the PCT. I have really enjoyed the pics and the commentary regarding your hike. I know your father is very proud of you as he should be. So eat, drink plenty of beer and enjoy until your next adventure. Best wishes......Dennis
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Dan! You have set the bar considerably high for yourself so don't start slacking now. Your new task is to make the next step in life as blog worthy as this one has been. I expect to hear great things about you in the future.
ReplyDeleteGreat job Dan! What an adventure, and we were so happy to follow along on this blog. Nice job taking care of your old man while he joined you on the trail. Get some well-deserved rest and comfort and have a safe trip home. Hope to see you well-rested at a Gator game! Rob Wheeler and family
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing adventure to cherish for a lifetime! I've enjoyed following your journey and hearing details from your father. Congrats to you! Frances @ SAO
ReplyDeleteYou made it!!! That is so awesome man. Must be an amazing feeling. I love just telling people about it, haha, works great at the bars. I'm sure you'll be entertaining people with stories for years. I can't wait to have a beer and hear all about it. Congratulations brother. Are you all rugged and wise now? I can't wait to find out. See you soon man
